Sicis Symphony Chair & Chaise.

This is the Symphony Chair & Chaise lounge. Made by the Sicis Company, from their Next Art Chapter One Collection. The chair stands 48" Tall by 39" wide while the Chaise is 48" Tall and 78" Long. There is a custom mosaic tile in the back of the chaise lounge that adds detail and beauty to the piece. The back is shaped to look like large flowers. The structure is made from wood, covered in foam, and wrapped in pink velvet.

I adore this chair simply because if the mosacic  tile on the side of the chaise lounge. But all of the detail in the back to make the flowers takes it to another level. Bright colors catch my eye, as soon as I saw this chair I knew it had to be featured in my blog!

The Smoke Chair

This is "The Smoke Chair", Made by a company called Moooi. Designed by Maarten Baas in 2002. It’s made from burnt wood, finished with epoxy resin and covered in foam leather upholstery. It stands approximately 41” tall and 30” wide. The company states this is… “Furniture finished with fire. The beauty and character of burned wood is now captured in a long lasting material, creating the strange sensation of sitting on burnt furniture”

I love a chair covered in black leather. Something about the roughness of the leather versus the softness of the tufting creates a harmonious combination. I could see this in an executive’s office, or even in a gothic night club. This chair can bring elegance to many different types of projects.

The Bomb Chair.

This chair is called "The Bomb Chair". Made by an Italian Company called Adrenalina. This specific chair is from their Poltrona Collection. It is approximately 38" Tall, and 59" wide. The Adrenalina doesn't have too much information about this chair but from the pictures it shows it in pink suede, and yellow leather. Here is the website if you would like to check it out! This chair was part of the inspiration for this blog. I absolutely love unique chairs like this. I have a purple wall in my office that a pink spiked chair would look wonderfully against! I do believe that the right chair can either make or break the time you spend in it. Being a person that spends a lot of time in a chair at school working on projects I certainly know a good chair when I see one.
